手滑甩棒風波 馬查多出面道歉

金鶯內野手Manny Machado在9日比賽「手滑」甩棒，意圖挾怨報復運動家三壘手Josh Donaldson，10日他透過媒體致歉，「我對我的隊友、金鶯、運動家跟支持我的球迷感到抱歉。」

金鶯跟運動家剛結束3連戰系列賽，第1戰(陳偉殷先發)就是衝突引爆點，當時Machado因為不滿Donaldson觸殺動作過大，怒摔頭盔導致雙方板凳淨空。

9日第3戰兩隊似乎都還在氣頭上，第8局運動家大幅度領先，投手Fernando Abad對Machado投出內角偏低的近身球，接著相同位置再來1球時，Machado順勢揮棒並且把棒子甩向三壘。

如此的大動作，且棒子是飛向敏感的Donaldson，當然又引發了球員衝突，而賽後Machado解釋只是「手滑」。

事後受到諸多撻伐的Machado今天(10日)出面道歉，「對我的隊友跟教練團、金鶯、運動家，還有支持我的球迷感到抱歉，這不是我們打棒球能允許的行為。」

運動家捕手Derek Norris說：「Machado的行為羞辱了棒球，我認為看到1個這麼有天賦的球員，在生涯裡畫上汙點是相當不幸的。」

金鶯7月中旬將會作客運動家，對於事情後續走向，總教練Buck Showalter表示，「這我不知道，但我們自己會處理好，相信我。」
