爆頭慘案
紅人終結者查普曼(Aroldis Chapman，見圖，資料照片)前天遭打者擊出的強襲球「爆頭」，造成左眼上方骨折，昨進行2個半小時的手術，植入金屬板固定受傷部位。醫生表示，查普曼意識清醒，除了輕微腦震盪外，腦部與眼睛並沒有其餘傷勢。
查普曼要留院觀察1、2天，預估10至14天就可以恢復投球，6至8周調整到比賽狀態。
紅人春訓投手多災多難，4名先發投手曾受傷，2名終結者替補人選布拉瑟頓(Jonathan Broxton)與馬歇爾(Sean Marshall)也因傷進度落後，前者熱身賽只投1局，後者尚未登板。
