被金鶯隊退貨的Grant Balfour，接受MLB.com訪問，不斷強調健康無傷無痛。節目主持人Jim Duquette在推特上，轉達幾個Balfour訪談的重點：

「我的第一反應很失望，原本期待能幫金鶯隊打進世界大賽。」

「我有8年沒進過傷兵名單了，有2位醫生說我很健康。」

「有4支隊伍對我有興趣，已經有隊伍向我提出合約。」

「我不需要證明健康，因為我真的健健康康。」

根據ESPN，光芒有意找Balfour加盟。之前Balfour跟金鶯隊談妥2年1500萬美元條件，卻在體檢之後喊卡。
