賽揚強投Scherzer：我不想被交易

底特律老虎強投Max Scherzer，2013年球季繳出生涯代表作，卻傳出老虎想交易他的消息，Scherzer在接受大聯盟電台訪問時表示，儘管再一年就成為自由球員，他也不想被交易。

「我不想被交易，」Scherzer說，「我在底特律已有成就，我們是很棒的隊伍，我希望他們不要弄砸了，我想要成為底特律老虎一員，也希望重返季後賽，並為底特律贏得終極目標。」

Scherzer在2013年例行賽投214.1局，繳出21勝、240三振、防禦率2.90，締造個人單季最佳數據，季後賽投22.1局、防禦率也僅有2.83，除了美聯勝投王，也包辦美聯最佳投手獎及賽揚獎。

Scherzer的2013年年薪為673萬美元，僅剩一年就將成為自由球員，他的經紀人Scott Boras說：「如果老虎展現誠意，Scherzer會非常開心。」不過，Scherzer也表示，老虎到目前為止，還沒有與他談及延長合約的事。
