猿隊老將陳金鋒兩年合約已滿，昨天表明續留老東家打拚的態度，不管新約長短，只要能力允許，會一直打下去，他說：「身體沒問題，就是打到被淘汰為止。」

亞職大賽熱身賽結束後，陳金鋒將到明年春訓開訓，再為新球季暖身；他表示，12月再和球團談約，如何協商要看高層態度，當然還想待在猿隊打球。

猿隊連同前身La new熊隊在內，陳金鋒從2006年返台至今，已效力8年，先簽兩份3年約（3000萬、3003萬元），再簽兩年約（1200萬元），總額7203萬元。

陳金鋒近3季因傷只出賽159場（本季49場），但生涯平均打擊率仍有3成13，人氣始終未減；猿隊總教練洪一中表示，對他仍有期待。

隊上老大哥表態留隊，猿隊領隊劉玠廷得知消息很開心。他說，這意謂陳金鋒認同猿隊的環境，希望他能一直打到退休，若有意願還可繼續擔任教練。

劉玠廷表示，陳金鋒是中職指標性人物，球迷也希望看他繼續打球，新約是長是短還不一定，要看鋒仔的心裡怎麼想。
