防守聖經獎出爐 Molina六度稱王

大聯盟2013球季防守聖經獎（Fielding Bible Awards）得主在29日出爐，其中紅雀當家鐵捕Yadier Molina已是第6度獲此獎項。

和球迷較為熟悉的金手套獎不同，防守聖經獎在2006由棒球數據統計網站《Baseball Info Solutions》創立，由12名棒球數據分析專家票選，選出9名守備功夫最為優秀的球員，沒有國聯美聯之分，競爭更為激烈。

「無庸置疑地，他們都是各守備位置表現最好的球員。」防守聖經獎創辦人之一的John Dewan如此表示。

今年共有6名球員為生涯首次獲此獎項，分別是響尾蛇一壘手Paul Goldschmidt、金鶯三壘手Manny Machado、勇士游擊手Andrelton Simmons、釀酒人中外野手Carlos Gomez、響尾蛇右外野手Gerardo Parra和藍鳥投手R.A. Dickey。

至於左外野手和二壘手獲獎球員則是皇家的Alex Gordon和紅襪的Dustin Pedroia，兩人都生涯第二次得到防守聖經獎。

除了2006年和2011年以外，Molina已囊括6次防守聖經獎的捕手，堅強的守備實力令人讚嘆。

Dewan便如此形容Molina：「有人會去懷疑Yadier是不是聯盟過去10年來守備最好的捕手嗎？」
