【鍾裕能╱綜合報導】大聯盟官網(MLB.com )記者桑契茲(Jesse Sanchez)昨在推特上表示，小熊隊已和「土虱」 曾仁和(見圖)達成協議，將以簽約金162.5萬美元(約4856萬台幣)加盟。
桑契茲7月10日也率先發布，小熊有意以150萬美元或略高的簽約金簽下曾仁和，之後又在小熊官網直接以「closing in on deal」為標題，強調合約已接近完成，昨再度發布最新進展。
曾仁和所屬波拉斯(Scott Boras)經紀公司代表則說：「最近可能會有結果，但對這個說法沒辦法評論，在小熊隊未正式公布之前，經紀公司無法證實。」據了解，曾仁和的合約由波拉斯親自操刀。
大聯盟今年國際潛力新秀曾仁和排名29，小聯盟權威網站《棒球美國》評比則排名23，最快球速95哩(約152.9公里)，原本外傳簽約金200萬美元，但因經典賽和今年表現下滑，行情略降。
