神盾將與教士隊簽約 4年7500萬美元

今年自由球員市場最受矚目的右投 James Shields,將與教士隊簽下4年7500萬美元的合約,教士隊擁有第5年的選擇權。

33歲的 James Shields,2006年效力光芒隊首度登上大聯盟,2012年季後被交易到皇家隊,去年戰績14勝8敗、防禦率3.21,是將皇家隊帶進世界大賽的大功臣,即使他在世界大賽中2次先發都輸,但沒人能否定他一整季的貢獻。

James Shields生涯戰績114勝90敗、防禦率3.72,他加入教士隊之後,預測將是第一號先發投手,另三人是 Tyson Ross、Andrew Cashner以及Ian Kennedy。

教士隊季後積極補強,已先後補進 Matt Kemp、Justin Upton、Wil Myers、Derek Norris以及 Will Middlebrooks,現在又簽下James Shields,戰力更堅強。
