紅襪與上原浩治延約 總值1800萬美元

紅襪與日籍終結者上原浩治延長合約兩年， 總值1800萬美元。

明年開幕就將滿40歲的上原，投球仍舊非常安定，救援功力一流，雖然年紀不小，紅襪還是願意與他延長合約。

上原是在2013年來到紅襪，季中成為球隊的終結者，並在去年紅襪拿下世界冠軍的過程中，貢獻絕大，第六戰紅雀最後一名打者Matt Carpenter便是遭到他的三振。

本季上原在紅襪仍有26次救援成功，不過也有5次救援失敗，防禦率2.52比前兩年高出不少。
